We were racing all weekend in 95+ temperatures and the brake were outstanding ! On the front straight I was hitting speeds around 165-170mph and hard on the brake before the S turns. They were alway consistent and very predictable.

Here is my combo:

Motul 660 Brake Fluid
Front cooling ducts with open rotor design (I cut ducts at the rotors so they only have a vent pointing at the rotor)
RB Racing two piece rotors on all four corners
RB Racing front racing pads RB XR70
Rear pads Hawk DTC-60

Open Track Video from this weekend:

The first video I'm playing with my good friend Joe in his 302S. Wouldn't you love to be 73 and sill drive that well....

Thanks for sharing all this, looks like a great upgrade for those that road race or heavy street use.

Very nice. I ran the RB rotors with Hawk DTC60's and custom air guides at Road Atlanta last weekend. No fade, ran all weekend and probably used 30% of the pads. I think I'll try the RB pads next.

Is anyone experiencing brake fade issues with the stock brakes and good fluid?

Yes... Even in the beginner open track run group. Brake fade is not a good feeling at 100+mph

Stock pads are good for the street and are design to stop well at low temperatures with minimal noise.

I have brake ducts installed and Snorman has air guides. We both have RB Racing rotors. My factory rotors overheated and cracked/warped in two days of open track. Problem was fixed for me.

My brakes are rock solid so far (3000miles on 14), and I'm braking late, and hard enough to make the instructor mad. Still all stock. Almost time for tires though after two visits. But brakes are super hot after a run.

Jeez, your car just pulls insanely out of the corner and the front straight.

I have never run there CW. That makes it a totally different course.

What organization were you running with?

Tom

It does pull hard out of the corners :burnout: My next trick in the bag will be a staggered setup with 315's on the rear.

TWS PDS small group, better drivers... No trains like Drivers Edge
