I noticed that. Even in the picture with the Cobra the multiple lug holes are visible.

Ya, it's the first thing my eye picks up unfortunately

But more importantly, I wonder what effect it has on the strength of the rim at the all important mount point. I'm sure the manufacturer is doing that multi to accommodate several platforms and save money....but I bet the casting isn't exactly high quality, either. Hence the reason they're inexpensive. Could be very weak end result.
