Could't hold off.......had to go for a quick 35 mile rip to test out the new carbides. Handles awesome now! Ended up with up with 7.5" Stud Boy Shapers (4" old carbides on the outside of the ski). Sucks the trails are going to get destroyed over the next couple days here....they were in pretty damn good shape tonight

How was the power of the 850? Never ridden in the mountains but would love to. My fat pig wouldn't make it a 100 feet in that.

I'm jealous. Lakes are being ridden by me too. Does that trail end at a strip club? Every one I've been on like that does...
You studded?

power felt the same as any old 800 on the trail but smoother, however it climbs effortlessly and had zero struggles other than me rolling the tippy bastard multiple times haha.

going on a 450FX timbersled next weekend and I feel like that's going to be my next calling. CAN NOT WAIT

Snow bike is now the most fun thing I have ever done. So effortless in 10feet of powder.

The 850 lost this one

The timbersled still did enjoy getting stuck. (Guy with orange collar is standing up straight and still not on solid ground)

Looks like some nice terrain there. Good lookin older sled

I love the yamaha proaction sleds...I'd love to get my hands on an srx triple triple or a viper...great riding sleds.
I like the old school...rider foward is fun but I like being low to the deck lol

No strip clubs on the trails in Northern Illinois that I'm aware of lol.

yeah, I'm studded

Ha, the trail I'm thinking of is just over the WI border. Place is showtimes or show something... two of em within a few miles of each other.

The guy I ride with used to have an 01, I think, SRX 700. Thing was fast on the lakes. It would go back and forth with my RX1. But it rode bad. Was great on a smooth groomed trail machine would rail but hit some moguls and your back is gonna know.

I just got a clean 95 Vmax 600 (wish it was a 4) for free my uncle. He's the original owner but is moving to a warmer climate and has no use for it. Plan to put a new skid in it (Polaris xtra 10 or something from an Edge chassis), stud it and ride it on the river by me. Probably let some friends borrow it too if they wanna come up north with me.

If It hung with your Rx it was mostly likely a sxr 700 triple triple...a power valve sled
They were real low and rode like shit but they ran like a scalded dog in the straight line

Yeah, it was an SRX triple triple. I reread what I wrote and it wasn't that clear. The I think part was supposed to be about it being an 01. Can't remember if it was a 00 or 01 but it was for sure an SRX.

Since then he's been through an Apex, 800 Poo, Indy fan (for his ex), Nytro and now has a new 600 Indy. Him and the other guy I ride with change every 2 - 3 years. My cheap ass stays on my trusty RXton.

Oh god the RX is a heavy beast lol

My cousin rides an IQ600, my buddy had a 600 indy...I like the indy

I want a new viper but I refuse to pay 14k for a damn sled.
I'd love to find a clean pogo vmax to play with lol
