Competition, that looks good!!! What are the specs on wheels n tires if you don't mind? I'm looking to do a set of Weld RT or RT-S on my Cobra.

Don't imagine it would hurt to bump this thread...
I'm looking for a setup to put on my 95 gts, I don't want to run a spacer though on the fronts and have been thinking about running a 17x4.5. I'm having trouble finding a nice tire for this size though, any suggestions?
Can anybody confirm the best backspacing for me as well? I'm thinking 2" on the 17x4.5 fronts and 5.5 bs for 15x8 rears...
What brakes are you running up front?? As for the rear go with 15x10 6.5bs

M&H makes two different front tires for a 17x4.5 wheel, and Hoosier makes one as well. I ran M&H's 185/55/17 radial on my 17x4.5 and loved them. Most of your 17x4.5 wheels come in a 2.25" backspace which is standard for that size. For rears, you will want 15x10 with 6.5" backspace. A 8" wheel will severely limit your tire choices. Any sort of class that warrants a 275 tire or similar can be safely put on a 10" wheel.
What he said. I would definitely still go with the 10" back wheel. I run the Hoosier front on mine and I like them a little better than the m&h front simply because they have more tread on them and look to last longer. 2.25 is the correct bs for the 17x4.5 front.M&H makes two different front tires for a 17x4.5 wheel, and Hoosier makes one as well.
