How do you find out the names on the signature tag (96) that's worn so bad that you can't see the names anymore?
I'm honestly not sure. I'm hoping someone has some insight. Can you make out anything on your tag at all?
Here is the best picture photo I can get, I've wiped it down several times, but still can't make out the signatures.
Since these were hand written, there should be an imprint in the tag from the pen. Try taking some thin paper and the side of a conventional pencil and place over the tag and rub the pencil lead over the signature area. You might get a transfer that you can make out. Here is the best picture photo I can get, I've wiped it down several times, but still can't make out the signatures.View attachment 1538792

Interesting note as seen on Marti report - Car had a DSO of 89 (Ford Motor Company) and is listed as a Test Vehicle. This car is the earliest known surviving pre-production 4 valve cobra, it was presumed to have been destroyed along with all the others (#18 & #19 were documented as purchased by employees)
