L ate to this thread. Going off what is hand painted on the radiator core support:
1996 Laser Red Cobra
Build date 11-21-1995
Build number 1839
Oddly enough, my plate (sticker really) is only signed by one person ("P. Nulty" i think? its faded and hard to read). The other box is completely blank, not even pen indentations. Anyone else have that?

Can you post a pic, I'd love to see that

Might be able to try some the automotive 3m double sided tape to put it back on. I've used that stuff before and it's pretty strong. Not sure if/how much heat it's rated for.

I thought of using that, but I'm afraid to "try" anything. If it doesn't work it'll be gone forever.

I hear you. I just know that stuff is strong, not sure how long it would last with some heat though, curious to see what others recommend.

RPM/ Smitty maybe???

just came across this site and specifically this thread just looking for info and I think it's such an awesome idea to document all this. Never been a car guy but decided to buy it last year and so far it's been great. Just had a question about my engine tag and was curious what other people thought. Mine says RPM for first name and second name I figured it was smitty because they worked together but I swear it looks like Shelby to me. No one else had any builders remotely close to that name or handwriting that ive seen so I'm not sure. I'll attach a pic. Just curious. Thank you!

Wow, that definitely appears to say Shelby. The RPM doesn't look like the usual RPM either if I'm remembering right. I wonder what the history of that is.
I'll go ahead and add you to the list.

Cool thank you. If you happen to find out anything about that tag let me know, I'm genuinely curious. I'll do some digging myself but ill definetly be checking this thread regularly.

Thank you again

You betcha. I'm happy to see the list is bringing in new members here to SVTP. This place is great. Stick around and enjoy the site. There's loads of good people here.
