Man what option does that leave for us? I really hate the adjustable ones with the threaded end and a nut.the ford ones are teflon lined and way smoother and easier especially with a firewall adjuster and hook quadrant I broke 2 Chinese aftermarket ones within months of each other and have had my ford one on since 2010

None, there is no oem available or no maximum Motorsport available clutch cable
We are stuck with cheap chinanisium cables. Only option is to upgrade the system with a hydraulic.

I've been needing a new one as well. I can't believe someone isn't producing a reliable cable at this point.

Someone has to be able to design/make the same type as stock….

Have you checked with Jim@PPI? He usually has a lot of hard to find NOS Mustang parts.

There definitely a business opportunity for someone. There has to be a large number of 79-04 mustangs on the road or garages needing a reliable cable.

i coudl be wrong but pretty sure I have a steeda adjustable cable on my car. It's only got 5 or 6k miles on it over the last 5+ years but no issues thus far. I just couldnt get the stock cable to work with my flywheel/rxt/magnum combo
