I really like how we citizens paid for special concrete pads at Beaufort MCAS so the F35 could land vertically literally right next to a 12,202' runway.
Cool stunt landing bro, you don't think you could have landed on that huge f'ing runway right there? Lol

I am impressed the autopilot didn’t disengage when the pilot ejected and flew the damn thing 75 miles… you would think an event like that would disconnect the autopilot.

That feature would have cost an additional $5mil. Per unit. The return home feature was free, gifted by the chi-com Weather balloon development company.

Oh man, what a timely meme. I saw an old friend in Vegas this weekend that was a normal looking/weighing girl in High School. She had to be over 300 lbs now. Damn!!! I bearely recognized her. I couldnt bring myself to say hello. I just kept on walking.
Good call, trust me when I say there is never any story worth hearing from people you left behind decades ago. If they were worth still knowing today you would have never lost touch. It was always comical running into people that "peaked" in highschool and went nowhere fast for the rest of their lives. Use to happen all the time when I would go back home to visit my Mom and Dad when I was in the Navy, made me feel good about my decision to GTFO of the VA/MD/DC area once and for all.

Generally speaking, if you kick the autopilot off, the jet is going to just keep doing what it was doing and slowly drift off its flight path.
What prompted the ejection? I actually haven't read the story. lol
