The problem is the messages are being submitted from the online webform on AutotraderCA....Would essentially have to block all messages from AutotraderCA to stop these webform submissions.
Ya. Impossible to block without pulling my ad. I will just have to ignore them. One of his messages said he would do an even trade for his 1994 civic lol. Definitely the type of car that someone that has enough time on his hands to email me all day would be driving.
People are weird. Some light trolling, whatever. If he's actually threatening you, report it to the police.
When I listed my GT500 on Craigslist, some backwoods meth-addict kept doing the same to me, including sending me pictures of his ass with his middle finger in the pic (why? no idea, but I thanked him and said it would not count as payment). Sometimes you get lucky and can run the email address or phone number and find someone's info. Always great to pull a CL ad from 1000 miles away, drop the price to an insanely low figure, and re-post it locally with their info asking to be called at 1AM due to 3rd shift work schedule. Otherwise, just ignore them. Trolls don't survive without food, so don't feed 'em.
People get mad when you have something nice. Human nature. Humans suck.
Act interested, get his email and phone #, sign him up for a profile on Grinder, and every telemarketing medical device, replacement windows, Vitamin company, etc that you can find.
I had a conversation with a weirdo on letgo about a motorcycle, he was offended by my assement of the value and he got all bent out of shape and threatened to beat my azz, claiming to be a US Marine. I just blocked him, and reported it to Letgo, they pulled his post and pulled his acct. end of story.
