I saw once in Las Vegas a 2 door ram charger, like a full size bronco, with Mexico plates.

what was cool was it had a modern ram pickup nose on it.
Owner told me it was built and sold in Mexico by dodge from 99 -01.

We had a late 70s 2 door Rmcharger when I was a kid. I'd like to have one restored one day.

I'm 35 and somehow I never knew what a Toyota Cressida was until like 5 years ago. They stopped making them in 92 but shockingly I never know anyone that had one until a few years ago. I can't believe nobody in high school was driving a 10-15 year old Cressida. The American sales numbers were fairly low after 86 so I suppose many were dying off by the time I started to notice cars.

I know a few guys who put a 4.7L V8 in one. That thing could really slide the ass end out under heavy throttle.

Crew cab obs chevys. Never knew these available until recently. Always thought crew cabs didn’t really show up until the 2000’s.

Really? I think Dodge did it first in the 1960's. Here's a OOOBS Chebbie. And since when did a 97 Chevy become an Old Body Style?

Plymouth Trailduster is cooler but I'd take either one. The whole roof was removable

A few more Mopars.
1979 Dodge Magnum. These had 360ci's and respectable power for there time.

1983 Imperial Frank Sinatra edition. I always wanted to make a street rod out of one of these or a Coupe' DeVille

1985 Chrysler Lazer XT. My step dad had one of these. It had a "computer" and would talk to you.

1991 Plymouth Laser RS. I had one of these briefly. They were very fast for their day. When I was 18 or 19 I drove at 145 mph on I-195 from the Jersey shore to the Great Adventure exit with my friend Mike & Brian, never lifting. At least thats the way I remember it.

My parents had a Merkur XR4Ti.

Anything late 80s/early 90s reminds me of the sound made when the key was in, and door open. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I ended up buying a car after finding out it existed. My work commute went from 30 min round trip to over 2 hr so I started looking for a fun daily that got crazy good mpg. I was interested in 335i's so I started researching them when I found BMW made a diesel version, the 335d, from 2009-2011. The M57 is a bad little motor: 3.0l inline six "twin" turbo putting out 265/425 and mid-30's mpg stock.

I ended up finding a 2011 M-Sport meticulously cared for and already deleted/tuned. I haven't had it on the rollers yet but similar combos make about 350/550. It is a BLAST to drive and so far I'm averaging about 36 mpg having fun with the torque every chance I get.

Good examples. Of course I don't remember the late 70s Dodges but i kinda remember the Chrysler Lazer/Conquest car as well as the DSM Lasers. Nobody remembered the Plymouth DSM's, which is probably good because those cars and the Eclipse/Talons, despite being fairly fast for the time, were absolutely, complete piles of shit

Pontiac Strato Chief. I believe these were only ever sold in Canada and only as a 4 door sedan. Stranger still they were only available with Chevy engines such as the 230 I6, 283, 327 and 409. My grandfather bought one new in 1965 and it stayed in the family for 30 years.

My wife had a Magnum R/T for a daily and I really liked it. Great DD and road trip car. Unfortunately it started sucking down gas like crazy and they could never figure out why so we dumped it.

I was considering picking up a SRT 8 Charger or 300 as a DD for a little while, but I ended up deciding a truck was the best fit for now. Now if a Magnum SRT8 was available I probably would have pulled the trigger on it.

That's a good snag. Is it a manual?

At the Boston Cup car show this year there was a Mercury LN7. I remember the Ford EXP, but forgot about the Mercury version.

Coming out the same year as the 164 CID turbo flat six Corvair was the Oldsmobile Jetfire. It was a Cutlass sporting a 215 CID V8 with a non intercooled turbocharger, instead relying on water/meth injection dubbed "Rocket Fluid.

The Dodge Stratus was offered in Mexico with a 2.4 turbo, the same as the SRT-4.

And alluded to earlier, the Chrysler Conquest/Mitsubishi Starion
