Noob... Do Muffler Deletes Require Tune?

Just picked up a new 2009 Vista Blue GT500 Sat morning 4/18/09:rolling:... It has 225mi on it now.. Anyway, I just ordered magnaflow muffler deletes and wondered if I need a tune to run them?

This is my first mustang and first supercharged car so I am taking baby steps.:loser:

I don't wanna break anything and this is nothing like a diesel.

No.... No re-tune necessary.. Anything else yes CAI, Pulley, etc.. But not exhaust.

You will love the sound. I too only have around 250 miles on mine and have had the SLP Loudmouth muffler deletes on since around 50 miles. This is the way the car should of came from the factory!!!

if you did anything more to the exhaust like longtubes or a off road mid pipe then you would need a retune. If you just switched (or straight piped) the axle back then no worries.
