Didn't see it posted here. Saw it posted on the regional board I frequent.

It is a Sentra SE-R with a Nissan VQ engine swap. The one guy from the Sentra board said it's cammed, bolt-ons, revs to 8200. Anyway, the dude gives a 911 GT3 a run for its money and its pretty damn impressive IMO. Sounds pretty sweet too.

im too much of a ford guy....what the hell is a nissan vq swap?

There are many different VQ series engines, but I would guess this car is using one from a 350Z or 370Z (couldn't find any info stating any details about the swap). Hence the awesome sound.

Yeah, I'm not sure on the details either. I believe it was a VQ35 from either a 350 or a Maxima, though.

The sounds it makes is sick.

at the beginning of the vid it says 3.5L 255hp FWD. I would love to see pics of this engine bay... Looks like a well put together car! (sounds nice too)

I love to watch where our videos get posted.

The motor is a 3.5 V6 out of a Maxima, exhaust is a 3" single with a 20" Magnaflow 3 chamber, redline is 7400. Engine management is an unlocked flash tunable 350Z ECU and a little rewiring. Engine has 11:1 forged pistons, ARP rod bolts and factory cams, upgraded oilpump and valve springs, 225/40/17 tires, nothing crazy.

Due to the class we run we have to keep the power under 260 and the weight at 2800 w/ driver. For 2012 we are building an unlimited car with these specs more or less; 2000-2200lbs target weight w/ driver, twin turbo 3.5 V6 somewhere in the 450whp range (due to classing) and 275 or 305 tires.

It's a perpetual work in progress. From our last race in March:
