I thought the same thing. I grew up in the original musclecar era. There was a mid 60's Buick at this past race. I don't know what sort of time it was capable of because it fell on its face half way through every run. I suppose maybe 10's if they could have gotten it to run. In any case it would launch with the front wheels five feet in the air, then come crashing down and bounce its way to mid-track before aborting. The Mustangs were totally without drama.
