So finally got my pig to do a decent time tonight and a new pb. Stage 3 vmp tvs with 79mm pulley on 93 with torco, VMP tuned. 3940# with cat less x pipe,a6 stock converter, gt 500 mufflers and full suspension,on 325/40/18 m&h radials with 18x9 front set up. 60ft is still high, but it is what it is. Just can't get it to come out of the hole. It don't spin, just one of those non 60ft cars.lol. Stock daily driven car otherwise. Got it july 3rd bone stock and done put 5500 miles on it with 2100 on the blower set up. Now the quest for a low 6 high 5 sec daily is fixen to begin for next season. Figure put this pig on a diet with d/s,k member,a arms, bumper supports, and such next month. Then in dec start on the motor side of stuff and get it ready for next year. Could not be happier with the car as it sets for a daily.

Congrats!

Great mph on the 79mm, but your 60' should be in the 1.5 range... What's your timing from 2500 to 4000?

Scott for some reason i can't never get a solid back to back say 1st gear log. 2nd and 3rd is solid every time. But one log showed 10* then the next was 25* and another was 16* and so on. Its like the sct or my laptop won't process it fast enough. Was gona start a new config file with just a few pids, but got cought up in some action last night as the track manager was calling out some guys for me to run. It was a private invite only track night and bunch of old rich guys in their modded supercharged ctsv's and supercharged vetts got their feelings hurt. This is the car a few weeks ago that i posted about not getting any good 60 ft times. I know i took it to bowling green and justin dyno tuned it and added and changed some things to pick it up down low. Off idle is the only way to get the car in the 1.6 range. If i stall it up say 1000 rpm or more it will go to 1.7 range. I even had it up to 1900rpm and it still slows the 60ft time. Even last night i had a shit ton of air in the radials,32# and still no spin launching it. I do have the suspension to dead hook it on the street as thats where we play. So i doubt it will ever spin on the track. That is one thing im gona try for next year is a set of 275 tires and skinnys for the front. Maby just to much rear tire with the 3.15 gear. In the end im still happy with it and can't wait till the brown truck starts bringing boxes for next years adventure.

Are you sure it's not spinning? Have you video'd the launch? Only time my 1st gear logs vary is when my car spins... If it's dead hooking, put a 3.55 gear in it...

Its not spinning,no video of it. Had many guys watch it and such and thing just dead hooks. I thought about doing a gear swap but gona wait till next year as our tracks are almost closed around here. Plus with doing a new motor combo it might be a waste. Kinda like a converter, was gona order one but no need to spend the money on something i will have to replace in the spring with the new combo. Even when the car was n/a with mike roush tuning it,it just didnt have any 60ft in it. I just think its one of those lazy 60ft cars.lol

I honestly think it would help to go to a 3.31 or 3.55. As i cross the 1/8th at about 64-6500 rpm. All of our tracks around here are 1/8th but 1 which is 2.5 hours away. Local track is 5 min from the house and others are hour away.

I am tempted to put some 3.73s in my car. I have a brand new set that I was going to put in my '13 F150. My 3.15s sing like crazy. I am on my 3rd set under warranty. Dealer friend told me some of the Ford gears sing regardless. My 3.73s are not made by Ford. My only hesitation is I already have hook issues even with the 305/45-18 MT ET Street Rs - 1.59 60'. OTOH the 3.73s will put me at about 7,000-7,200 rpms at the end of the 1/8 and about 6,600-6,800 in 4th at end of 1/4.

I had to almost shift to 5th with that same tire and gear combination. I would advise against it from my personal experience
