I got on right around Savannah for 5 minutes and told my wife "Get me the hell off of here". We took Rt 17 the rest of the way.

I hope you enjoyed the trip through my stomping ground - Stop anywhere in Charleston?

I always like SC. We drove around Charleston this time but were there last year. Great little town. I had the best damn shrimp Po Boy in my life there.
This time we stayed at a family members house up in Myrtle. Had a great meal at Wicked Tuna in Murrell's Inlet.

Right past Mexico Beach. The Panhandle gets a lot nicer once the hotels start to disappear.
