New Throttle Body for my 01 ?????

Done all the other basic bolt ons and was looking into a throttle body.
Was only considering buying an Accufab.
Question is can I mount the wide oval TB thats for the 03/04 Cobra on my 01?
Or do they make a wide oval one for an 01 that I just can't find.
Let me here your thought good and bad.
I know I've heard alot of bad things about the BBK TB so I won't go near it. And if tuned correctly I can't see why this wouldn't be a good upgrade!

Oval single blade will NOT work.
Accufab dual 60mm will work, but do not expect big power gains.
It is more of a throttle response mod.
Best case, Accufab and an intake spacer.
You should be ale to feel a nice midrange pickup.
I did on both of my 4.6 32V cars.

Not too many people put intake spacers on our cars because they simply don't make the gains that they do on the Mach 1's. There is absolutely no need for you to get a new throttle body. The stock unit flows more CFM's than any other part of your engine. Really, the only time to upgrade is in boosted applications. Tis a shame the search function is down, I've read quite a few horror stories with aftermarket TB's as well.

NA= not enough gains to justify the $$ for a little throttle response and 1HP

I put an intake spacer on both my 2000 GT
w/FRPP 2000 Cobra crate engine and my 04 Mach 1.
Both cars I felt a nice gain in the midrange,
and picked up some MPG as well.
Throttle body on both gained some nice throttle response.

Save your money for something else. Intake spacers and throttle bodies are a waste on N/A Cobras.

Up to 700hp, it isn't worth it. A TB is only worth it as the last possible upgrade after everything else is done.
