Auto Quest... you guys always have sick cars! I was in there a year or so ago and you had a F40, Enzo, and Scuderia!

Forgive my ignorance, but why on earth does he want to hack up a GT2RS for a targa car? A built 996 GT3 or older GT2 would be much cheaper to build and accomplish the same goal no? Unless he has so much money that he doesn't mind scrapping a car worth $400k (I'm assuming included build costs).

Wow, that is definitely a gorgeous Porsche. Can't believe that in all the years I've driven cars that not once have I ever driven a Porsche. I haven't even SAT in a Porsche. Awesome car!

+1 that's the first thing I thought of when I read the post. You don't take a very rare and limited edition supercar and then hack it to pieces!

yeah having the f40 and a enzo at the same time was pretty insane.the f40 was actually originally owned by paul allen the co-founder of microsoft lol.still had all the books and jacket and luggage with it.had a bunch of aftermarket work done too.i believe at that time we had 2 scuderias a maroon and gold one with silver wheels and this one

he already had a fully built 996 c4s and now has the built 997 gt3rs shown in that video along with another 997 gt3 street car he tracks .he initially bought a 2010 blue and gold gt3rs to continue what he was doing but then they announced the gt2rs.its got everything the 3rs has but a ton more power stock vs the modded gt3.it was naturally the next step

and really its only limited because they make more money on them when its only a few its nothing ground breaking.its honestly just another stripped out 997 turbo with centerlock wheels and carbon ceramic brakes.

its not like hes hacking a f40 or enzo apart to go racing, its really just another porsche.it will be far from hacked up honestly, the class he runs it has to have a full stock appearing interior.only way youll know its something more than a car with exhaust is the fact itll have a cage,2 race seats and a sequential shifter.its not going to be some hacked out piece of shit
