I've always dreamed of having a bigger garage. I have some blue prints of a 28x38 which is 1000 square feet. Biggest I can go, city regulations, unless it was attached to the house.

It will have vaulted ceilings for a 2 post lift. Also heat, finally a place to work on the car during the winter months in Minnesota.

Almost finished with our basement, then I can hopefully start getting more serious on the garage.

Thanks man. It’s kind of surreal at the moment and I’m anxious to start moving things in. A two post lift will be installed after the floors are done. That should hopefully wrap up the build, but not the decorating

The concrete for the driveway has started to be poured

Construction of the interior bathroom/rec room has begun as well

Yessir. LED overhead lighting. The electrician should be there this week to start wiring.

I would have 2x6'd those Bathroom walls and probably 2x10 the ceiling joists, because you'll put a bunch more stuff (weight) up there than you can imagine. Not hating, I love the shop and progress, and more than a little jealous . Looks great !
