Took advantage of cool Florida weather to hit the track. Ran a new best for me with this car. Previous best was a 11.61@122, today picked up a little to a 1.83 60', [email protected] 1/8th, 11.57@119. Car has run 123mph before not sure where my few mph went. Dynoed car two weeks ago and it is right on the number still from when I had it tuned, made 528/534. This a Eaton, street tired car. Happy with performance but curious about the mph as it seems low. Here's a video of the run.

I wouldn't worry about it ... it could be anything, shift-points, wind, track timers, etc. / Congrats on the new PB! :)

I wouldn't worry about it like everyone said. 2 seasons ago my car (upper only/bolt ons/stock eaton) went from a 11.50@123 to a 11.47@119 and I didn't do anything noticeably different. My cars a bit lighter then a stock irs cobra tho hence why i did very similar times with less power. but just shows you can have the same car on the same day with very little changes and it improves et but can lose mph.

What they all said, I trapped 125 when i made an 11.5 pass but only went 121 on my 11.3 pass

My 60's reflect that. the 11.5 pass was a 1.75 60 and the 11.3 was a 1.66

Mph is still way off tho, never the less congrats on the best

First off congrats on the new PB. As Cory stated I agree your car should be trapping considerably higher. Your car should be trapping in the upper 120s consistently if you are making 527 whp. I can see losing a few mph for getting off the line great but not 8-10 mph.

He only made 3 mph less than his last pass 119 vs 122. Several cars are in that gen time/area in this very post: 1/4 Mile: 11.21@ 125.00, 1/4 Mile: 11.38@ 121.00, 1/4 Mile: 11.71@ 121.32 compared to his 11.57@119 & past 11.61@122. Quick search on the site and I see: HP: 558 TQ: 560 1/4 Mile: 11.67@ 122.53, HP: 501 1/4 Mile: 11.52@ 120.04. Does not seem that out of line to me? Differences in dynos, tracks, elevations, weather, shifting speed, launch rpm/technique, tires,.......could all easily explain the slight differences imo.

I missed it where he previously ran 122, I was basing my guess from his hp numbers alone. Reason I said that was my car on a dynojet put down 480 and I trapped 120-121 all day at the track.

I am not too concerned with it, the makes a nice dyno number and does decent at the track for what it is. Above all I drive it a lot and it runs flawlessly.
The car was run at Bradenton Motorsports Park with a elevation of only 65'.
