Myself with a LOT of help from a buddy recently installed a Gen 2 VMP TVS on my '14 and got it back from the tuner last Friday. I took it to the track the next day on some old Et Street radials and had some major traction issues. I ordered some ET Street Pro's and got them mounted this week and was going to go back to the same track as last week but they cancelled due to cold temps. I woke up this morning and checked to see if Beech Bend was still going to run and luckily they were, so I made the 140+ mile one way trip to the track..

Reset trip after filling up with fuel (93 octane)..

After signing in with tech I weighed the car with me in it, I'm about 165-170 pounds..

On the first pass the car spun on the hit, so I allowed some cool down and came back with a pretty good burnout and here's the result..

After some more cool down I tried again..

I tried one more pass and it spun so I called it a day. This was a TnT day and the prep is not typically that great and also there was alot of street cars on street tires driving thru the water and diesel trucks hot lapping. Overall I'm pleased with the ET and mph considering the 60's and conditions. It's pretty cool to drive 140+ miles to the track, drop air pressure, run 10's, air tires back up, and then drive home LoL.

Congrats & Great job!

What were the temps out? I have a hard time hooking when it's really cool out. Do you still have a 4c convertor in the car? Is that on a 82mm pulley?

Temps were in the mid 40's. I had a converter in it but took it out after the blower was installed, never cared much for the way it drove on the street and didn't really think I needed it to get decent 60's. I have a 85mm pulley and running 93 octane.

After deleting the front swaybar, a tune revision, and some better fuel i have a new PB to report. This was in +2750 DA.

85mm pulley, stock converter, and some suspension work. Full weight other than removing swaybar and spare.

Got a new best for 93 octane at NMRA True Street in Bowling Green, da was +2200. This was only the second time out with the new converter so it still needs a little dialing in and with the pro tree and not wanting to sit at the line forever I really didn't play with the launch much, basically stalled it to around 1500 and let it go lol. Overall I'm pretty pleased with the et and mph considering the boost and fuel. I plan on adding some ms109 when the weather is more favorable for a better pass.

For comparison, here's a side by side of the best the car has gone on race fuel (stock converter) vs 93 octane. The da was pretty close for both passes.

More new PB's lol..

Results from today at a local true street race (same rules as NMRA). I'll have to look up the da for the fastest pass I made (first slip posted) but I know it was 2150 on my best 60' pass (second slip posted).

85mm pulley, 93 octane, and Circle D 258mm 2C..

EDIT.. Per Dragtimes.com the da for my first and fastest pass was 1745.

Fastest pass..

That's moving out for an 85mm! Time to slap a 82mm on! No tuning required...

Congrats!

I have a 82mm but don't know if I'll put it on or not, I've been told I'll need a boost a pump and possibly injectors. If I need those additions then I'll probably just get a 79mm in the spring. The plan for now is to wait for a day with very good air and put some race fuel in it and remove some weight and see how it does lol.

Congrats on the new best! With a 85 that is very impressive.

I ran a 82 with just the 47 injectors and now a Roush BAP with the 79 pulley
