New mustang driving in the snow with 13/14 GT500 wheels

So a buddy of mine lives in Detroit. He snapped these photos for me.

My question is, what model is this one, the wheels from my phone looked like 13/14 GT500 wheels many pitchfork spokes.. My only assumption is for winter tires??

Either way, why is camo still necessary since the car has been revealed?

I would think it was just the last set of camo they had on the car and just didn't bother to remove it since it doesn't really matter. Maybe also to signify it's a mule so passersby don't look at it and think it looks like an unfinished piece of shit because they don't know what a mule is and the car is basically a mish-mash of parts. That's my guess.

I guess that will depend on whether or not it will house anymore tire to see whether it's a good thing or not.

so true... lol its either a blessing, or a curse in disguise. There was NEVER enough meat to fit on the old wheels. Better not be the case on a WIDER mustang... Sad you can safely fit like 355's on an M3 and nothing more than 305s on a GT500.

Tail lights look like they're LEDs in that picture. I like it, I was worried they had gone backwards in that regard

i have seen people fit 335 in the 2010+ on the rear. i think that anything over 305 is just for looks though.

No you can't. Not without the wheels sticking out an inch beyond the fenders.

A lot of these cars are just mules that have been around testing and there is no reason to take camo off of a car that probably was never properly painted anyways. I found out some information today regarding why this would be tested in the snow, but I am not sure if I can say yet.

I found out some information today regarding why this would be tested in the snow, but I am not sure if I can say yet.
