I was out for a drive last tonight and decided to log my drive. Below are my results from data logging.

Log after car sat all day: (LOG1)
Max Boost........................14.3
Mas Air Flow Rate (g/s)......482.22 @ 6344RPM
Mass Air Flow Voltage........5 @ 6344RPM
Ignition Timing.................22.5 @ 5v @ 100% engine load
Max Ignition Timing...........48.5 - CONCERNED?!?
IAT2 from 0 to 94MPH.......42deg to 90deg

Turned off the car - IAT1 @ 43deg
Turned off the car - IAT2 @ 81deg

Log after running in store for 10mins: (LOG2)
Started car again - IAT1 @ 54deg
Started car again - IAT1 @ 110deg

Max Boost.......................14.9
Mas Air Flow Rate (g/s).....482.22 @ 4872RPM
Mass Air Flow Voltage.......5 @ 4872RPM
Ignition Timing.................23 @ 5v @ 100% Load
Max Ignition Timing...........48 - ?!?!

View Logs in MS EXCEL format (right-click 'save as'):
AutoTap Log1
AutoTap Log2

I am getting my max boost number from taking the Intake Manifold Absolute Pressure and subtracting 14.4. (pressure reading when engine not running)

New Setup:
2.8" Non-Slip SFPHQ DUB Pulley
Diablo Chip tuned by Amazon Racing
.... - Not Sure of Tune - Bought from Another Member
Gatorback 73.5" Belt
NGK TR6's @ .040
Steeda Tri-Ax
JLT Cold Air Intake

Someone please give me advise on what to do and tell me what is going on ?!?!

I'm not sure about the MAF voltage so I'll let someone else chime in.

But the timing advance looks ok. If you look at the engine load and MAP when the PCM advances that much, the loads are low and MAP shows vacuum. That kind of advance is the PCM trying to compensate for the low power/low flow condition. It looks like it never went that high during high load/high pressure.

Most of us will have MAF pegging issues and its not really a big concern if the car is tuned properly. I would get a hold of amazon, send them any data you have logged and have them make sure everything is properly accounted for.

Thanks guys... I will be dynoing on Saturday and hope to get some good readings then...

I might just go with another tuner, one that I dont have to mail the chip to... we shall see how the dyno turns out... :)

If you have not had the car on the dyno your playing with fire taking it up to 6350 RPM with a known tune let alone an unknown tune.

I agree. As a matter of fact, I presently have an Amazon Diablo chip (which was just fine before the Apten) but after adding the Apten blower I'm now running lean. I've decided to go with a dyno tune (SCT) to get an optimum tune for my set of mods. Then I'll be selling my Diablo chip.

Are you going with the SCT Pro Racer package?

I honestly don't know what packages they offer. Our Mustang club is bringing up one of their tuning gurus (Jerry) for the weekend. I guess I'll find out when my turn comes up. My goal is for a good safe tune.

Bob,
are you talking about Jerry who use to be with Fordchip? If you are he did an excellent job tuning my nitrous car.

Yes, I think they are one and the same but I'm not 100% certain.

I forgot to mention that I'm installing a 92mm MAF meter this weekend. That will totally solve any pegging problem at 6000+.

Nice info....I need to log mine as well.

I have the dynoject Wideband commander coming and I can have two data acquisitions, and log as well, Im thinking about MAF voltage as one of them.

Anyone want to take bets on how a 50 or 75 shot of n20 would add into the already pegging maf saga with a well tuned apten setup??

Im about to find out.
