New guy new car 97 SVT Cobra

Hey guys

I just got my 1st mustang, a 97 cobra. I was looking for a affordable autocross project car and came across this. It has relatively low miles at 86k and 0 rust. That said it’s a little rough. I’m going to do fluids and general maintenance and it needs a hub, brakes, both front seats, window motors and minimal bodywork and paint. I also plan to do chassis stiffeners, front and rear suspension, rear gear, tires. Hopefully we don’t find any hidden issues.

Do not forget the solid rack bushings, those are a notable difference, and shorter end links if you go lower.

I had a couple of ricers and a sport bike. No real cars of note. I will be replacing those bushings. A few guys have recommended it to me. Not sure what im going to go with for suspension yet.

Good buy for $4k. Simple bolt ons and a good suspension will be a fun car to throw around the track.
