Hey all. I have been lurking the forums for some time, and I'm happy to say that I'm finally back in a mustang. I wanted to share my newly acquired 2002 GT. I can't take the credit for the build, but I cam promise that she landed in good hands. Enjoy!

Exterior Mods:
Mach 1 grill delete kit
Mach 1 chin spoiler
Roush 2003 dual pedestal wing (up forsale) going wingless soon.

Performance Mods:
BBK shorty headers
BBK X pipe high-flow cats
Flowmaster mufflers
K & N cold air induction system Complete pulley kit
Stage 2 High Tech competition cams
HD valve springs
Ford Racing timing chains
High Flow water pump
New thermostat
New drive belt
New spark plugs
Injectors cleaned
New valve cover gaskets
New fuel pump in gas tank
Dyno tuned via Diablo tuner
New rear main seal
New wiring harness

Drive line Mods:
Ford Racing 3:73 gears with cover
Hurst competition short throw shifter (changing to pro 5.0 but keeping the Hurst ball and lever)

Braking Mods:
Bear brake drilled/slotted
SST braided brake lines

Welcome to SVTPerformance! You got yourself one fine looking '00 GT there. Great mods. Looks to be in fantastic condition, too. The previous owner took really good care of it. I like the wheels, too. :)

Thanks man. She is a Gem. The owner apparently has every single service record and most of the work was done at a Ford dealer down south by Cape May. She drives like she has 20k on her. I was shocked to find it was at 105k.

Thanks gents. I still can't believe the condition its in. I was lucky to find her.


So far the first changes will be the following in this order:

1) solid motor mounts, a poly trans mount and a pro 5.0 shifter
2) replace fipk with a JLT and add a bbk 78mm tb and plenum
3) replace bbk shorties, catted x-pipe, and flow masters with some American Racing Long Tubes, o/r x-pipe and Borla Stingers.
4) re-dyno tune with SCT and sell the Diablo tuner.
5) get some 26" et street radials on another set of wheels.

Update:

Energy Suspension Motor and Trans Mounts, and a Kona Racing Pro 5.0 ordered... I went with poly engine mounts since she's still my daily driver.

Its begun...

Nice choice on the Pro 5.0 shifter. I recommend that you order a shifter gasket from me. It eliminates the message silicone sealer and quiets down shifter noise. ;-)
