Hello all.

I custom ordered a 2013 GT500, black on black back in June and it arrived last week. Unfortunately I am away for work until Thanksgiving so won't get to see it until then; talk about major blue balls. This is my first Ford vehicle that I have ever owned. Everything prior has always been part of the Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge family (flame on lol). I absolutely can not wait to take this beast for a spin and enjoy it as my DD. I currently am in NYC but am moving to Chicago December 1st for work. The GT500 is currently in STL, where my family lives and they are keeping it in their garage for me until I pick it up over Thanksgiving. I will be taking it to Chicago with me after. Here are the shitty pictures I have of it thus far:

My other vehicle is a garage queen. She is a 2009 Jeep SRT8 with 1200whp. I am very active member in the SRT community but have little to no exposure to the Ford community and so I look forward to meeting some of you and learning a lot from you all. Cheers !

1200 whp! This will feel slow by comparison if that is even possible. Welcome!

Highly recommend looking up BJ McCarty from vmp tuning. He lives in Chicago as well. Knows these cars as well as anyone.

Check out shelbyfest next April in Herman mo.

Pm me if you want more details.

Haha yeah it may, but the Jeep is not capable of speeds over 180 with the way it sits. The Mustang, however, is. Thanks for the welcome! I will definitely look him up once I move there. The first mods I was thinking of adding to the beast are tinted windows, tune, and pulley upgrade. I will also make sure to check out the Shelbyfest in April. Thanks for the info Tag!

Bj is the guy to talk to about tune and pulley package.

VMP tuning actually brings their mobile dyno up from Florida and does installs and tunes at shelbyfest. That is where I got mine done last year.

They will have show specials on pricing for parts, tunes and installs on site.

Awesome thanks Tag. I hear these Mustangs see big gains from a tune and pulley swap unlike the platform in which I am used to. Oh wow that's a pretty sweet deal for sure. What software/tuners are used for programming and data logging Mustangs?

LOL thanks man. It will fit into my garage nicely next to my black on black jeep:

Sct is the preferred software by almost every major Shelby tuner. Vmp has articles out to show what impact a tune, cai and pulley swap has on 13. I believe it was close to 700. Add some long tubes and you are easily over 700.

Enjoy.

Tag, I truly appreciate the quick and informative responses. I will definitely be doing some research on VMP.
