Hey guys, I've been lurking here for a little while and finally picked up a car. This is the best forum I have been on yet.
I am 22 years old, full time student and full time employee at a Ford dealership as an "Internet Sales Specialist." Basically, I take pictures of vehicles and put them online. I occasionally write detailed auction descriptions for eBay.
I had a '99 Chrome Yellow GT coupe back in the day, but got into some trouble [in it] and had to sell it. I lost my license for nearly three years; I was reinstated in March. I searched high and low for Cobras shortly after, but scratched Screaming Yellow off my list simply because I couldn't find in my price range.
I was bummed out one night after missing out on a deal, and lazily pulled up the butt hole of internet classifieds - Craigslist - and ran a search throughout Illinois. Voila, found my baby.

59,000 miles (just turned 60,000 a few days ago. I drive a lot) with plenty of bolt on goodies...
Although I was slightly discouraged by its 5 owner history, the car was so immaculate and mechanically sound that I could not pass it up. It has the dark suede interior which is nearly flawless. Here are a few pictures of the undercarriage. It looks pretty clean to me, aside from the scrapes on the midpipe (doesn't bother me; it's inevitable). Here, you can see the [BBK?] off road X-pipe and Magnaflow catback.
I don't know where the engine bay picture went, but it is very clean. I will snap one a little later and throw it up here.
According to TORQUE (Android app linked to my OBD Bluetooth adapter), it pushes around 14 psi. Just about right for a 2.8" pulley and bolt-on's. Like any Cobra, it hauls ass.
I got kinda shafted by the previous owner, who gave me only ONE KEY with the car; No owner's manual, fob, certificate, or handheld tuner. Traction control is off, so I have a feeling this car is married to a DiabloSport out there somewhere. Thankfully, I got another fob and programmed it right away, but the lack of documentation, accessories, etc. still peeves me off a bit.
I am going to do some digging and try to find the previous owners of this car. They must have REALLY loved this thing, because it is really quite a gem. It reminds me of the good ole' days in my GT... but a LOT better.
