I have a spare 5.4 sitting around and want to build a hard core drag racer. Been trying to figure out what to put it in and am trying to decide between a fox, 99-03 SN95, or 2010+ S197. I remember the 94-98 SN95s being a real weak chassis but that is just my foggy memory. Are the New Edge Cobras any stiffer or would it be better to spend a little extra and get a S197?

If your going to build a hard core drag car you'll need a cage so chassis stiffness is a moot point.

Might want to look for a GT. If you're going for straight line you'll want the SRA. One less thing to swap with the GT.

There's plenty of new edge shells being used in many fast Outlaw Drag Race classes. The ModFather Ronnie Diaz runs in X275, there in Ultra Street and Drag radial hell even Steve Gorman's Outlaw 10.5 car is a new edge body SO Yeah it's a good foundation..
