So I did a thing. picked up a roadster/cruiser last week out of texas. its a gen 3 roadster, in crazy good condition. i've always liked these cars for the rawness, and how few were made.

needless to say, the no-mod thing didn't last long, as I had already ordered parts before I picked the car up last week.

Eibach lowering springs, Billet lowering caps, custom 3" magnaflow exhaust, and wheels done gloss black so far.

this thing is so rewarding to drive, and so much different than the mustang, as it is a true sports car.

looking to do some ported heads, a cam, and supporting mods here. think 650 wheel on 91 pump is attainable, so that's most likely the goal. drove it from houston back to OKC over the weekend, and never got bored of it.

Good looking ride. I'm selling my Gen IV intake if you'd be interested.

SECKS! Looks great with the black wheels...can't wait to make the decision between one of these and a C6Z.

Will the gen IV intake fit the gen 3 heads? i didn't think it would. because I know you can put a gen V intake on a gen IV, but think that you can't on a gen III
You know, I'm not sure what it takes...but I have seen a few with it.

Looks great, hoping to be posting my own thread like this in a year or two once the bank account recovers a bit from building this new house.

swap out the stock 3.06 rear end gears for 3.54 dana gears and you will see a world of difference in acceleration usable power.

i've heard that. the 3.55's are the way to go.

looking at doing some GG ported heads, valve job, and bumpstick.

i think 650 can be had with an aggressive cam.

650 easy.

I'm at 635ish with just headers, exhaust, MOPAR PCM, Gen V intake and CAI.

Have any before and after pics of the car with the lowering caps installed?

Looks killer, I wanted a gen 4 coupe. Aiming a little higher though.

That thing is gorgeous!! Love the black wheels/stance to it. How long until we get a sound clip? A gen 3/4 viper would be one of the few cars I'd consider selling the cobra for. What's the average price they're going for?
