Hi guys, went to the track tonight, first time on Hoosier QTP on 16 inch rims instead of the Nitto dr 315. Did my new best:

60 ft 1.85
Mph 1/4 115 mph
1/4 12.10


I was very happy at how those tires hook, i feel like i can be in high 11's with this setup with better 60... will have to practice a bit. Hoosier was at 15 psi.

My previous best was 12,51@ 116 mph.

What RPM are you lauching your car at?? Good times, get that 60ft down and you will be in the 11's forsure!

I was launching in the 4 -4500 rpm range.... i think i can launch harder because the tires was still hooking very well.

Sadly for an unknown reason the 1/8 mile trap and time are not always appearing on our slip.... and that was the case that day.:??:

Wheels are standard 99-00 GT wheels. They're 16" x 7.5". I've been running consistent 1.6X 60ft with that setup with a best of 1.62. You can do much better Ben !! Only thing you gotta do is not being afraid of breaking something. I see a 11.8X pass in your future ;-)

What size tires are on those rims? i have a pair of the same size and was wondering what tires to put on them. i have some 26x11.5 ET streets but i think they are too wide for the rims.

My Hoosier size are 26-9.50-16 .... fits perfect

I rape him ...lol ... seriously he was pullied claiming 540 rwhp... NOOB driver, he was on M/T Et streets, 13.10 against me and from what i ve seen is other passes were in the 13.1 - 13.50 range.
