In addition to the great deals on parts, i can get any new 13 for you at $100 over invoice.

Can order you whatever you would like as well.

Deals can definitely be had. I ended up ordering mine from the factory and getting it $550 over dealer cost. With incentives, I should be in the 34-35k range for a '13 GT Premium with track pack and Recaros, which MSRP's for $39,880. If you found a car already built on a lot, I'm sure you could get an even better deal, especially on the GTs (non-premium).

I just got my '12 base GT in January, but the '13 models are starting to grow on me. Might have to see what kind of deal I can get next year. I'm not a guy that likes adding options, but man those Recaros are *nice*.

A friend just went and test drove a '13 GT Monday. They wanted a little over the window sticker or no sale. I was surprised.

You can find them for window sticker or slightly under. Dealers just don't have them and are not willing to deal on them much.

Too high. Know a guy who bought a base with 3.73 for $27.6k the other day here in Austin.

Invoice on a base with 3.73 is $29613.44

There is only $500 in rebate.

There is the possibility of a $750 ranger owner loyalty rebate. Even with that, you are $28,363.

I don't see him buying at 27,600 unless he is a ford employee. $28507 is imployee price. Rebates would still qualify.

You can get invoice on the '13's now, if you can't get it where you are buying, then buy elsewhere and let them wait for a sucker.

Sticker on my base was $30,9** something. Got the $500 rebate the $750 for trading in a ford on a ford(some loyalty thing) and another $1,000 off. So basically 28.6 before my trades. Not a bad deal wouldve been nice to get rebated like the 2012s but i hate the pre13 taillights!!

Not an employee or supplier, he's a dentist, not eligible for any of the alphabet plans. Doesn't own a Ranger. It's a 2013 base, 3.73, race red and that's what he paid. I also know someone who got a 2012 base auto for $25.9k.

EDIT: OP I just checked to be sure, Covert Ford over on 183 in Austin is the dealer selling at these prices. There's a black one listed on their website with an asking price at $28k.

Hrm...I didn't like these cars until I started seeing a couple in the flesh. Now I am getting the urge to make up for the fact that I didn't get the color I originally wanted, or the options on my '12...

I'm happy to see some places aren't still going nuts with the prices.

I'm looking at special ordering a 2013 because the options I want don't exist anywhere in the world. Lol

I stopped by Burleson on Tuesday and was offered the built car for 35,340.39 OTD.

I've also been offered $33,160 plus $500 recent grad rebate on the same car at another dealership.

The options are listed below....

Impossible pricing then,

at in invoice of $29613.44 and a $500 rebate,

that would be $29113.44, even if he got all 909 in hold back, that would be $28204.44.

no reason a dealer would sell a brand new model car at a $606 loss.

If the car is optioned as listed.

Why would you call it impossible? Like I said they have one on the website right now, exactly the same, base with 3.73, asking price is $28,001.
Austin, TX 2013 Ford Mustang 2DR CPE New Coupe near San Antonio, TX Houston, TX Covert Ford Lincoln

And an Automatic at $28,703
http://www.covertford.com/2013-Ford-Mustang-2DR-CPE-Austin-TX/vd/10345943

So it looks very possible to me. I've known the guy who bought the 2013 for a long time, he isn't going to BS me. Getting them to knock $400 off the advertised price should be no big stretch at all.

Damn, that is an insane price for a 13'!! They must have a huge doc fee to make up for selling the car as a loser.
