Yuck. A 135i can't even compare to an M3/6. I test drove a few before buying my M and it felt cheap and generic.

I hardly think you can call the new M3 a "tiny" car...first time I saw one I thought it was an M5. Those things are huge. That said, I vote M3, unless you can find a slightly used M6, because in 5 years it will be worth about the same as the M3, so might as well let someone else take the initial hit.

Tell your Pop to spend $55K get the M3 put another $15-20k in aftermarket turbos and bolt-ons and he'll be walking the piss outta that M6.
