Need some help with an HID conversion

Well basically you fed +12v to ground and vice-versa.

I think the harness is ok despite the miswired connector. There is nothing else on the installation side that can be corrected. Ill plug the new relay in tomorrow and see if the switched pins fix the problem. Then I might finally be able to match my projector fogs. Siiigghhhhh

I will say I never smoked a relay with a miswired 9007 connector but yet again I always knew they came wired wrong and would do quick tests to check polarity. So your relay more than likely got smoked from being wired wrong + running the car with the lights on for so long.

Its a common mistake, what I want to know is why 10+ years later does TRS still sell these wired for 9004. They should really note this in the instructions.
