This. You can make over 700 RWH all day, but if you don't have the car set up to plant it, you'll never rip the 60 foots that you need to get into the 10s. Suspension, gears, and tires can easily exceed the cost of the bolt on motor mods.

So much truth here. Arms, relos, gears, diff cover for diff support, wheels, sway bar relo, diff brace and Hoosiers im at $2000 with me supplying labor lol

I would not track it if you are on a budget. Parts will go south very quickly on a track....

Go with an '11/'12 and get the suspension cinched down. Ditch the battleship propeller stock wheels and get something lighter. Address the suspension and weight before throwing power adders at it. These cars are pretty amazing once you take a couple hundred pounds out of them.
