NEED QUICK ADVISE! Hotchkis tvs towing??

i have a 2004 lightning with full hotchkis tvs. im trying to decide what to drive to pick up around a 6000lb boat double axle trailer 12 hours away dont want to get there and the lightning not be able to handle the tounge load

what do you guys think??? anyone else tow with tvs kit??

I tow about 4000 lbs with air bags and its still alot of weight for my truck, short wheel base don't help too. I don't think I would tow 6000 lbs with my truck.

6k is more than its rated for stock, no way i would tow that much with TVS

i towed about 3k lbs trailer with my tvs kit and i dont think i would do that again that was only maybe 45 min drive

I tow my 21 contender that weighs about 4k lbs with my 04 Lightning. Granted it has stock suspension, it tows it just fine and i would not hesitate towing a 6k lbs boat with my truck. I have launched my boat at the ramp many times with my truck and it pulls it out of the water with ease as well.

I have the TVS kit, and there's no way I would attempt that tow.
