This is just plastidip and can be removed easily, looking to see if I like this look before doing a true powder coat. Previously had polished lips and backsides. I think I like it because the subtle look of black helps the 19s in the rear not look so big. Anyway, let me know if you think it's a go or no go.

Gotta have my camaro cam installed so sorry for the camera in the way.

I kind of like it the way it is. I've never been a fan of a chrome lip on a black wheel. Plasti dip is great stuff, I've used it on my car for multiple things. It always peels right off. I think you should leave it like that for a while. Personally, I like it better this way than before.

looks good, take to powdercoat now

Haha, I gotta find the right place before I let them change my $5k wheels forever.

Thanks everyone, it's growing more and more by the second, I wish I could stop by all of your house and show you in person because it looks so much better, but I can't so enjoy.

Do the lips of the wheels gloss black, then the face of the wheels flat black. It'll be a NICE contrast. :)

Looks 100x better now imo....I hate polished lips. All black, or all polished imo

Absolutely badass looking car. I'm not usually a big fan of all black wheels but yours really pulls it off. Why not save the bucks and leave em dipped just in case you change your mind later?

That's the current plan, but inside I know a powder coat will be perfect, the finish on plastidip is only so good and the caliber car I feel I have deserves better than that. I'll give it a month before I take it in for a final finish.
