Prometheus collectors set.

Comes with the blu ray 3D/dvd/and a whopping 3 hour about making the movie called the Furious Gods.

Great sci fi movie. Part one in a possible 4 movie run.

Can't go wrong with Heat or Training day. Are you looking for good movies or just something that got the wow factor on blue ray? If it's just wow then maybe Avengers or any of the Transformer movies.. first one has pretty good effects. If you are looking for a good movie and blue ray I'd recommend Master and Commander: The far side of the world. If you have a surround system crank it up for the first scene. It doesn't match the opening scene in Saving Private Ryan(another sweet bluray) for intensity but the sound effects are incredible. The movie won a couple academy awards(2004) and if LOR:The Return of the King didn't come out that year it would have won several more.
Movie I wish they'd come out with on blue ray - Open Range.

Just looking for good movies. Guess I should of been more specific. I do have movies that I watch for the audio alone more than the content itself. I have a $10k HT (not bragging, just saying) that some movies are just insane. This would be another list of movies.

1. War of the Worlds
2. Underworld Awakening
3. Tron
4. Elysium
5. Any of the Transformer movies

Jurassic Park

I don't have a blu-ray player though, I usually stream movies or play an old DVD.

Saw the previously mentioned "Layer cake" last night. Enjoyed the flick, did not expect the ending at all.

Nice, here's my list of movies I like then(not based on special effects). The weird part for me is that the main actors in my top three are guys I normally can't stand in movies. If they are on I watch them, if there's nothing on I drag one of them out.

1. Master and Commander
2. Open Range
3. Last Samurai

After that there's a smorgasbord -
No country for old men
Tombstone
Reservoir Dogs
True Romance
Unforgiven
LOR
Matrix
Man on Fire
True Lies

I mention True Romance to a lot of people and they've never heard of the movie. It's star studded and well worth a look. Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, James Gandolphini, Brad Pitt, and more.

Transformers (Horrible movie, but great sound and CGI)
When Elysium comes out that will probably be my fifth, also good sound and CGI.
