im trying to decide which route to take i thought i was set on doing a C head swap and 01 intake porting etc with a set of 106400 cams. but no im reading about guys making 380ish with worked on B heads and a short runner intake with 106400s whats the best way to go for an NA build with some nitrous.

The cheapest way is to stick with B heads, but the newer heads/intake woudl provide more average power and torque.

i found a set of C heads for 350 from a local guy and intakes are going for about 400 does that sound about right? 750 for the setup plus 1500 for the 106400s. what am i looking at for labor an average for the work on heads and intake and cam install.

why run boost if he can just run nitrous and be just as fast...he can't have the huge penis for having the highest power number but on the track he will be just as quick...

FWIW - I found those cams a good deal cheaper just earlier today. Check them out here: http://www.rpmoutlet.com/03cobrabbk2.htm

I have about 5k into mine on stock bottom end. But thats including alot of supporting mods as well. Arp cam and crank bolts, melling billet oil pump, ati dampner, alum flywheel and clutch(thanks Todd!), among parts. I have a lot of tuning issues still still take care of.
