I finally decided to tint my tailights since I couldn't find any pics of a mystichrome with tinted tails. There was another member looking for a pic but this is a coupe. I plan on getting better daytime pics and with em turned on. Special thanks to my wife for taping my reverse light for me.

A few different reasons really mostly to break up the norm and not tint the whole light and to give me a little bit more light at night when backing up.

I think it looks awesome. I would love to see some better pics and other angles. Did you use VHT?

How many coats of VHT did you put on your lights and did you clear them if so how many coats....they look great!!! I did minw with VHT and they was to dark so I took so gas and took it all off, I want to do them again but need the right amount of VHT and clear.

looks good, I always cut and clean the reverse light and in my opinion it looks better. It is also easier to see when reversing. I have done about 8 different sets of tailights, bmw, nissan, ford, ect. VHT does the job well

I used two good medium coats and one finally touchup coat. Then after it was starting to dry some I started putting three coats of clear on the lights to get rid of the dull VHT coats. Then I just wet sanded them with wore out 2000 grit and used rubbing compound to buff em out shiny. thanks it's not a bad process just watch your humidity.

This will be my 5th set of lights I just done my wife's car prior to doing this set it's not hard just take your time and prep is the key. This will be my second set I've cut and buffed tho it makes a world of difference on the look of the lights.
