I don't know why I didn't do this sooner... ... all you do is feed him!

This is David's son. He took him along with us yesterday for the track day at MSR Houston... and while I sat and ate lunch, he rotated my tires. What a deal huh?!! :pepper:

I agree! Aint it great!??! I've got a couple of Nephews that I drag along ot the races sometimes and I make them earn their rides in the car!!

Justin can remove calipers and change pads along with jacking up the car and rotating tires, torquing lugs etc. He also pulled a halfshaft out of the car while I supervised.

My other Nephew isn't quite as advanced yet but I'm working on it. He's also got a younger brother that needs the apprentice training program yet.

So hopefully in a few more years they will have cars and be able to wheel me around in my wheelchair!! ;-)

I need a volunteer! I got this email the other day which reminded me of this thread.

Re: Volunteer Staffing of the National Championships

We need your help! We are starting the process of staffing the National Championships at Mid-Ohio September 14-17.

Here is how the process works:

If you feel you have a specific person(s) that would excel at a particular “Chief” position (Chief Tech Inspector for example) please forward this letter to them. We will require a resume with references be sent to [email protected]

Here are some of the criteria:
Works well under pressure.
Works well with new people/builds trusting relationships in a short time.
Eager to learn new ways of doing things.
Positive leadership qualities.
Superb people skills.
Must represent NASA Pro Racing in the most positive fashion possible at all times.
Present from mid afternoon September 13, 2006 through the conclusion of the event.
We will need to staff all of the normal event positions with the exception of Safety Services since this is provided by the facility. We will also need staffing for many other jobs such as Driver Information, Membership Booth, Contingency Tracking, Start Judge and many others. Regular staffing requests should be sent to our Volunteer Coordinator, xxx xxx:[email protected]. All volunteers for non-chief positions will be accepted.

If you think of something I have forgotten please don't hesitate to bring it to my attention.
