Sorry to hear about everything that went down.
The big loss might be never having had a sister you could trust or be close to.
Family is great when you can trust them and they have your back.
Family is horrid when they don't care about you.

Kinda of sucks actually. Pretty you mention she had issues Kiris. I don't care for my sister and her husband based on what they've done, but...

Not on the same level, but when my Grandma (my dads mom) died my Dad called me and told me when and where the Funeral was going to be. He also said "I understand if you don't show up, Hell, I don't want to go either..."
She was a self centered person that was only concerned for "what have you done for me NOW, as in right now, not yesterday, but today, not this morning, but right NOW."
She is not missed. She died alone and hated everyone.

Money is the root of all evil that's how I feel it brings out the worst in people..

1 Timothy 6:10, it’s the Love of $ that becomes the problem. Everyone needs money to pay the bills. It’s when your focus in life becomes the pursuit of riches that you lose sight of the more important things.

Sorry to hear this. It happened to my late grandfather. A family member, his kid, reduced him to 337 bucks, in his bank account. He grew up in the depression and didn’t spend money on anything unless it was essential. He is the greatest man I have ever known, and it’s baffles my mind that something like that could happen to him. Let alone his own flesh and blood.

Hold on, before you start telling me "Sorry for your loss, RIP and all of that condolences" crap....

She was the most evil, vile person I have ever known in my life. She died yesterday at 62 years old.

We didn't find out just how evil she was until around 2017. She had moved in with my dad to help take care of him. He was ailing and going down hill. She moved in with him in 2012. In 2017 we discovered that she had drained my dads bank account, what we can prove is about $660,000. That was as far as the bank would allow us records without a court order. My dad had nearly $1M after selling off 40 acres of land and a home. Also, between 2012 and 2017, my sister took out more than 30 credit cards in his name, defaulted on all of them. Stole all of my mothers jewelry that my mom left to my dad when she died in 1993. Sold it all to a pawn shop. I really do not have time to sit here and list everything we found out. I will mention that while my dad was having heart surgery and getting a foot amputated, she forged his signature on a deed and transferred his home into her name. When she was caught, she became incredibly smug and didnt care she was caught. We also found out that she gave her daughter a debit card to use against my dads bank account and spend at will. You just can not imagine everything we discovered. When my dad died, we put a lock on his credit and woulnd't you know it, she tried to get even more credit cards after he died and put utilities in his name.

Anyway, in 2017 my sister was in perfect health. Being that evil does something to your soul. Looking at yourself every morning in the mirror picks pieces off your soul. We got a call Thursday that she was in hospice. Me and my other sibling decided to go. We got there and she was unconscious. She looked like a 200 year old decomposed body.

Guilt and sorrow killed her. She died not knowing the lord at all. She is now where she deserves to be.

That is all.
Sorry to hear, but glad it all worked out

The land of commies and socialists!
Seems like there's always one piece of shit in every family in situations like this.

It's always the same two scenarios. They either rip off people before they die or look to enrich themselves after someone passes.

The later happened when my grandmother past away. My uncle went off the deep end looking for money that wasn't there. He started threatening everyone with lawsuits.

I won't tell you I am sorry your sister passed away.

I will however tell you I feel bad for you and your family having been put through this mess.

Sorry to hear. My aunt, (my
my mothers twin sister) did the same thing to her mother. My grandfather passed and had plenty of money to take care of my grandmother. My aunt was made executor of the estate, within 10 years my grandma was evicted from her assisted living facility.

My aunt gambled and blew through almost 3million bucks in about 10 years. Once my mom found out she tried to track down how the money was spent, and it was unbelievable, I cannot even tell you all the details it’s just nuts.

Soon after learning all this, my aunt was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was dead in six months.

The worst part about our FIAT currency is that it's not backed by anything anymore and somehow is still the world's #1 currency SMH...

I mean, it hasn't been backed by gold in my lifetime. Haha Last time was either 1970 or 1971.

You always think this time it'll be different and you hope and pray but it usually ends up exactly how they say. My step-father died less than six months after being diagnosed and you still hope, until the very end, that he/she will beat it and then you end up questioning your faith or whatever you believe in.

What's the old saying?

"You can choose your friends, but can't choose your family."

It sucks that you are your family have to go through all this. Best piece of advice I can give is to let it go. Don't let it consume you. There will, of course, be harsh reminders for years. It sucks, there's no other way around it.

Again, sorry you having to go through all this. The discovery process is terrible and can eat away at you.

Unfortunately selfishness has become a huge monster in the world. People will do whatever it takes to please themselves even at the expense of family, friends, or complete strangers.
