my rebuild and hitting 503 whp

ok first i want to say, its an evo and i know there are a lot of lovers and haters for this car here but lets just admire the power that we have extracted out of this 2.0L

so i recently had ICS of STamford CT ball hone my cylinders and slap some new pistons,rings, rods, and bearings in my motor. well i wanted to crack 500whp with my car and the o so imfamous ATP kit.

so the motor was finished and it was broken in on the dyno for about 70 miles. then they tuned her. Big AL went to work.

here are some pics of the motor. wiseco pistons, eagle h-beams, clevite bearings and ARP head studs.

as for the power, well it made.....



503whp 456 tq

28 psi. this was done with 93 octane gas and 100% meth.

i will be picking it up this week.

all set with big al and his "team". i know of 3 evos that have gone boom after being tuned. He is by far the shady-est tuner ive met. He pulls the ECU, walks into his office, locks the door, changes the tune, then reinstalls. He tuned my buddies car. then he and my buddy went for a ride. Al drove and beat the shit outa the car on the highway and then ganked ebrake and slide sideways thru the parking lot. shows how much he respects the people that pay his bills.

You should take down pullied and ported Cobras pretty easy then. I never realized how light EVO's were. ABout the same as a C6 ZO6.

sorry about the pic thing. i only posted them that way because thats the way they were sent to me. and i didnt feel like re-hosting every single one.

and yes i was with u with the whole shady Al situation. but he is a lot better these days and wors with the customers personally. back when he started this at Pruven, he would take it out go into Dans office and do his shit then re-install it. now its all done with everything still in the car. and i am there watching everything he does. also George, the owner of ICS, wouldnt let anything happen.

i am very happy with the results.
