What an fun day to say the least! As everyone has already mentioned, thanks to Dwight(and Jan for dealing with Dwight), MIR and staff, and the sponsors for putting on this great event. It is top on my list of one of the best days I have had at the track! It was nice to see everyone, although very hard to get around to take pictures, watch the racing, help JR and visit with everone without missing something!
Congrats, to everyone who made PB, with an extra special CONGRATS to JR for hitting the 8's and to Ken for hitting the 8's as well! Very big accomplishment for the both of them. And, I also have to give a HUGE CONGRATS to the SGS crew as well for putting not 1, not 2 but 3 cars into the 8's THIS WEEKEND ALONE! They really have gone above and beyond this week with their work on these cars and showing up at the track to assist and support their customers in reaching their goals. They deserve huge props for again getting 3 cars in the 8's over the weekend. :rockon:
I took about 450 pictures of this event. I stood up at the timing tree for quite sometime in the beginning of the event and took pictures every car that came by. If anyone is wondering if I got a picture of your car just let me know what the car number was and I can check and post it up. Here are just a few. Enjoy.
