Uh oh..I did it again...My New 2011 SMS 302 Mustang

This is the new SMS (Steve Mark Saleen) Mustang that Steve makes along with the new Challenger. Attention to detail is amazing and the exhaust tone is freakin awesome. Hoping that maybe Steve can buy his name back from his old Saleen Company since they are going out of the car making business in the 3rd 1/4 of this year.

Overall a nice car, however that rear is way too busy for me.
It would look so much cleaner without the top half of that spoiler.

That rear deck spoiler is part of Steve Saleens Styling...can be had with or without. But one thing it also does besides downforce at top speeds ..it makes the rear fast back appear more fastback by shortening the look of the trunk from the side.

What are the motor specs?

She has the 440hp 401tq naturally aspirated engine ...better handling
But there is a 575hp supercharged option too!!

They have 3 packages now..the base White Label cars come with the 440 hp engine..but no real body/suspension or braking mods. Just a grille...numbered car including engine compartment tagged..side stripes and rear blackout panel between the tail lights..and spoiler or no spoiler. But still just your basic Mustang 5.0 body. Price is around 35k

The Yellow Label is the same as above but with a supercharger with 545 horsepower. Price around 45k

The Black Label is the one I have with the body kit/suspension/brakes exhaust and can come with the supercharger and 575 horsepower. Price starts at around 58k

Thats from people who do not know. There is alot more into these cars than just a body kit. You gotta drive one...

I think he wanted to blend his past designs and some F1 racecar design cues too.....something different and it gets some killer looks as you drive around.
