Not to be a total forza fan boy but forza definitely out did GT5 with picture taking. Other then the backdrops that is lol. But still pretty cool I guess

Look at 2011. A whooping two exclusives. F4 and GeoW3. PS3 had 14+. Look at 2012. 360 with 2 maybe and PS3 with Twisted Metal, The Last Guadian and lots more. Kinectic killed any hardcore games for it.
And yes I'm well aware we have a new Nintendo and Xbox within a year.

I love the GT series of games and have been playing them since GT1 came out back in the '90s but damn the VERY JDMcentric car list of GT5 has killed my enthusiasm for the game. Why can't it have the most raced and interesting non Japanese cars like GT2 had?
I agree it is very Japan only. You only get five mustangs but 7 Miata's, 8 Skylines, 7 GTR's and 20 versions of some other japanese car.
I have both games and I don't think you could be anymore wrong. What kills GT5 is the lack of dlc, but that just changed. Forza is fun but it doesn't touch GT5 when it comes to details in how the cars work.

i have pretty much the same cars in gt5. forza will never hold a candle to GT if you ask me....who cares if the photo portion may be better, i dont take the time to take pics, i care about game play....

I have played both... I still think gt5 is way better. there are so many cars and rooms you can join for racing online.

I thought the GT5 pics looked ok till I scrolled down to this. You just killed any chance this thread had with your two posts... I hope youre happy.
I dont have time to play the video games anymore but wish it was worth picking up FM4 just for the interactive car views with the kinect I already have.
I have both systems. GT5's online play is terrible. When your racing other cars, they take leaps and it is very inconsistent. Forza is more realistic with crashes and parts flying off the cars. Also comparing real speed Forza is better. My 960hp viper in gt5 compared to my 940hp viper in Forza is completely out of control.
Where I think Forza owns GT5 is car customization.
Perhaps in photo mode th 360 can place more of its 512 of ram towards graphics for higher resolution photo shoots than the PS3. I won't deny that. I also think Forza looks much easier in the menu's to navigate and faster load times.

Actually, it was just a GT5 appreciation thread with some of my cars. It didn't become a fanboy thread till a bunch of guys walked in with their panties in a twist screaming Forza 4!
Hell, I will I had that game too. Each game has their pro's and con's that almost would make a perfect game had they been meshed togather. Personally, I can't push myself to buy a 360. IT HAS VERY FEW EXCLUSIVES. Which is the reason you purchase consoles.
Buy a PS3 or Wii and you get games that will never hit pc years later. Halo and Gears are the PRIMARY reasons to own an Xbox and EVENTUALLY they will be on PC. Why bother.
Really? Thats all you can come up with? Thats a terrible excuse, and seems to be the only one ive heard as to why people would choose the PS3 over the Xbox. Im also assuming that its also the reason PS3s were sitting and collecting dust on the shelves when they came out and 360s were still selling like hotcakes even though they had already been out for a year.
