I'm happy with how it came out. And I like the fact that it shows the ACTUAL aluminum tubing, Not some polished stainless tip. I'm going to eventually polish the tips.

Polish it. Put some tips on it and ditch the green diff cover. Pretty cool though.

A great custom exhaust setup, but IMO something needs to be done with the tips. As it stands, they give it too much of a "homemade" look. Why not have the shop weld on a nice tip which will made it look so much better. JMO. Nice system for sure, though.

I have a similar setup with custom made exhaust and vbands. But why aren't you running mufflers? It's got to sound like a 17yr old kid in a Chevy truck. Too much noise for a 300hp car.

Hiw much for this custom setup? Flowmaster makes a 3 in system with mufflers & polished tips for $850. Thats around what i paid thru summit anyways. Love the different sound on my 3" vs the normal 2" systems. Hope u like it.

Why would you use aluminium over stainless?? Aluminum gets too hot. Plus id just cut the tips at a 40º angle...make it look likw classic fox body tips... also in picture #8 thats clearly not aluminum and the weld looks too hot.. show us some of tge aluminum welds please...

3" exhaust for 313hp?

No offense, but it seems like overkill.

I'm curious at just how much that aluminum will grow when subjected to full temp heat. Not to mention, with hundreds of heat cycles it may become brittle.
