okay, thanks, I do see they make a 315/35/20
I mention this because I see some running the 305's with "room to spare."
I could always have True Fordge account for the extra size. It doesn't appear to be much larger/width then the 305's..

whats your take when comparing this to the 305's/20?

I think when people say they are running 305's with room to spare they are talking about the overall section width. If you run a 315/35-20 the overall height maybe an issue. If you compare the rear dimensions from the pictures totheduals posted (315/30-18 rear size), the 315/35-20 will be 3.25" taller. The 315/35-20 size will also make it difficult to match up the front tire size in terms of sidewall height/diameter. You do not have the same clearance in the front that you do in the rear. A good rule of thumb is to stay within 3% of your OEM tire height. With that said, the 315/35-20 size is 6.3% taller. Even the 305/35-20 size is 5.3% taller.
