My altenator died and my 2.9 Whipple passed inspection

My alternator crapped out on me only 20K on the car my son's 07 Mustang GT's alternator crapped out on him last year at about 20K what's up with that?:shrug: I had my car towed to the Ford dealer and they changed it under warranty ignoring the Whipple. It was due for a state inspection so I told them to see if it would pass. It was running a Torko tune but passed without any problems. So I was happy about that at least.

I don't know. My alternator died on me last fall with about 12,000miles. Since then I've stopped listening to the shaker 1000 with the car off.

My alternator died in my 05 Stang GT. I'm not sure how much of that was attributed to the Steeda Underdrive Pulley I had on the car. I bought a heavy duty PA Performance alternator and haven't had a problem since.

I think its just a mustang thing...lol My Termi was the same way and I know a lot of other people that had the same problem.
