Yeah, the bottom line is... its BY FAR the best bang for the buck... despite what all these smucks that are willing to spend 65K on a GT500 say.

I bought mine two years ago, it hasn't depreciated 1 cent since then, plus I put about 15K into it and it will hang with any basic bolt on GT500 out there.

Granted my interior is not as nice, but its a lighter platform and I am slowly upgrading my interior to be just as cool as the new ones.

The next closest bang for the buck might be a GT 5.0, but you know... its not limited production so it will be worthless in 5-10 years. Your not getting the forged motor. Lots of GT guys are boosting the heck out of them, but who knows how long they will last.

Beautiful ride!! Great find! If you are going to drive and enjoy this car, and since its a vert, I highly recommend a strong set of full length subframe connectors. I had the Stifflers Fit System welded in and it transformed the car.

Good luck and enjoy!

What a coincidence. I'm on my 3rd 2003 convertible, too. Only because I totaled two of em in 2011 within three weeks. :fm: Enjoy the ragtop!

Yes best bang for buck but still a little more than i wanted to spend on a 10-11 year old car but, i always said my next terminator would be a 10th anniversary or Mysticchrome. Wasn't a fan of convertibles but after two hard tops i wanted something different. Car is definatly mint interior is in perfect shape, still smells new.

Can I ask what you gave for it? That car was for sale for a while, I think it had about 17k on it? Looked nice but I'm not a vert guy, plus I wanted OW.

Yes i believe it was for sale since July (i bought it in October), they wanted $27,500, but i got her for $25,000. Im not sure if i want to mod it or not its so fresh and mint kinda wanna leave it stock. It was so hard to find a stock 03/04, let alone for an affordable price...

Looks great!!!, I think you did good on the price I bought my 04 vert with 2500 miles on it (bone stock) this past october for 29K. He was asking 29.9K,, but heck it still has a Ford ESP warranty!! I agree that these are a great bang for the buck.

Congrats! Think I saw this one for sale a little while ago, hadn't checked it recently. Was that the one in Emporia?

Congrats, you can't beat a 03-04 Cobra for the bang for the buck. This is the best most fun car I have ever owned and I had many great Fords. 64 Falcon Sprint 289, 64 Cobra Roadster, 66 GT-350 I had that for 36 years, 70 Boss 302, 2001 Cobra. I also drove several GT-500's and they are nice I still like the Cobra better. I like the size and feel of the Cobra,it's a interesting and exciting car to drive. Love the sound and feel and rawness of the driving experience.

Congrats!

I'm on my 2nd black 04. First had 4300 miles, my current just under 4000 miles. I love these cars.
