The gen 1's are very rare, so not too many data points to go off of. Talking Vipers in general, 550rw is enough for 130 traps. If you replace the 3.07 rear gear with 3.33/3.55, it would be easy, as that make a huge difference.

Did it have a hard top?
Yes , it was hard top....Again it was kinda dark out so hard to pay attention to him and my shifting..pretty sure it was a hard top.
If it had a fixed hard top then it was a Gen II.
Interesting.... never liked those 1st gens. That "targa" top was awkward.
