Congrats on the new car man. I wouldn't 'waste' money trying to make that car fast. Its your car and you can do what you want with it, but if you wanted a fast car, then you should have went for a Mustang if you wanted the Ford as well. I can understand if you don't want to pay insurance for a V8, but don't try and make that Fusion somethings its not....unless you have tons of cash that's lying around and you TT it. :beer: Bottom Line: Its your car. Do what you want with it. Just giving you my $0.02

Wow! That's good to know. I've been considering a new Milan for the old lady, but the severe lack of power was a sticking point.

I just ordered mine in Merlot Metallic with Camel leather interior.

It should be here in about 2 months they told me.

Now I'll have to turn in the 4 door F-150 I have been renting though.

where did you see or read that? just curious. i know the lincoln MKZ is supposed to get it in 07 but i have yet to officialy hear the fusion will be getting it. i really hope your right because the fusion desprately needs that engine to be competative in the segment its competing in.

lincoln MKZ, Ford Edge, Ford fivehundred.................... the 3.5 is replacing the 3.0 across the board. Also ford is releasing awd on all their new passenger vehicles save the mustang and focus

the 3.5 is only going into the New Zephyr, not the fusion. Ford wanted something diff for their Lincoln

awd is coming for 07, also the ford edge is getting the 3.5L

I thought their were reports that the 3.0 would eventually get phased out
